Tell us what you need new work or ongoing

Tell us what you're trying to do.

A new site, a redesign, custom development, an online store, marketing, or handing the whole thing to someone who'll look after it. They all start here.

NO BUDGET QUESTION

We don't ask for one on a first contact. Describe the work, and we'll talk about money once there's something real to price.

What starts here.

  • We've outgrown our website

It was right three years ago and the business has moved on.

  • We need a new site, done properly this time

Usually after one built in a hurry, or by someone who's stopped answering.

  • We need something custom built

A portal, a calculator, or two systems that need to talk.

  • Our online store isn't working right

Checkout, catalog, shipping, or the software behind them.

  • Nobody dependable is looking after it

A developer who answers in a few days, a host, and someone in the office with the password.

  • Nobody's finding us

Search, local search, or getting more from the traffic you already have.

  • We're an agency and need a technical partner

Regular work for us. See agencies and white-label partners.

A few questions.

A plain description of your situation is more useful than a finished brief. If you have a spec, send it.

Want to see the work first? Every site on our work page is live. Open a few.

If something's broken right now, use website help instead. It's faster and it reaches the same people.

What happens next.

Usually four steps from your first message to work starting.

  1. 01

A response, within one business day

We'll review what you sent and respond within one business day, by whichever way you asked us to reach you.

  2. 02

We look at what you've got

The current site, the hosting, the platform and anything it connects to. We don't estimate work we haven't looked at.

  3. 03

A written scope and a price

What's included, what isn't, and what would change the number.

  4. 04

    The work, in stages

Built on staging where you can review it as it goes. Anything that moves the price or the date gets raised at the time.

Do we need to know what we want first?

No. Describe the situation and we'll work the solution out together.

What does a project cost?

It depends on what you need, and we won't guess before looking. Once there's a scope, the price is specific and in writing. How we bill.

Will we talk to the people doing the work?

Yes, directly, rather than through an account manager.

Can you work alongside our current developer or agency?

Often, yes. We take the technical work and you stop relaying questions between two companies.

What if you're not the right fit?

We'll say so on the first call, and point you toward the kind of company that is.
