SUPPORT
Sometimes it’s the server, not the website.
Server errors, DNS, certificates, PHP versions, databases, email delivery and resource limits. We work here as well as inside the site, so nobody gets passed back and forth.
The expensive version of a website problem is the one where your developer blames the host, the host blames the developer, and a week goes by.
What we handle here.
What we handle here.
Hosting
Managed hosting for sites we look after, sized for what your site actually does rather than a plan name.
DNS
Records, propagation, nameserver moves, subdomains, and the changes people are quite reasonably nervous about making themselves.
SSL certificates
Issuing, renewal, mixed content, chain problems, and the certificate that expires on a holiday weekend.
PHP and platform versions
Upgrades planned and tested on a copy first.
Databases
Sizing, indexing, crashed tables, growth nobody watched, and backups that include the database rather than just the files.
Email delivery
SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and working out why your order confirmations land in spam.

- Apache
- Nginx
- PHP 8
- MySQL / MariaDB
- Redis
- DNS
- SSL / TLS

Why we work at this level.
Both halves, one team
Plenty of companies build websites. Plenty of companies sell hosting. Not many will read a PHP error log, a mail log and a DNS zone in the same hour, and that’s where a lot of website problems actually live.
Our hosting, and when we suggest it
Sites we look after can run on hardware we operate, rather than on a reseller account with somebody else’s support queue in the middle. When something’s wrong at the server level, there’s nobody for us to hand you to.
What to expect
- We start outside the server
- We read the server logs
- We check the limits before the code
Hosting is quoted against what your site needs.
Hosting questions.
Hosting questions.
Do we have to host with you?
No, and most of the sites we support don’t. We work on sites wherever they live.
Our order emails go to spam. Can you fix that?
Usually. It’s normally SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that were never set up properly, or a sending IP with a poor reputation. Both are fixable.

Not sure if it’s the site or the server?
That’s a fine place to start. Working it out is usually quick, and it decides everything else.
